Making Disciples of our Kids

We believe that parents have been given the joy and responsibility of raising their children in the ways of Jesus, and we are committed to supporting families in raising their children and disciplining their children. We believe this is best done in community by exposing children to diverse relationships of all ages, which happens primarily through our Missional Communities.

In addition, we equip parents to raise their kids through gospel-centered teaching and trainings well as age-focused ministry during our Sunday gatherings.  Each gathering is a special opportunity for our children to be together as they grow and learn how to walk in the ways of Jesus in this community.

Kids at our Sunday Gatherings

At our Sunday gathering, classes are available for the ages of infants through the 3rd grade. Children are normally taken by their parents to their classes before the gathering begins, but they are also welcome to participate in the gathering with their parents. We leave it up to parents to decide what is best for their family, and the classes are organized so that kids who arrive to class after the singing portion of the gathering will not miss out on any teaching or associated activities. Kids classes open 15 minutes before the gathering begins and continue through the end of the service.

Safety & Security

We want to ensure that all children participating in Center Kids classes are safe and secure. All volunteers who work with kids are required to pass a background check and screening process, and a minimum of two volunteers are required to be with kids at all times.

For detailed information about our children's ministry policies and procedures, see the Center Kids Handbook.
